I know, but frankly clanging the way I posted it probably gets even closer to the reason some of the people feel the need to cling to guns and religion, that they’re now being judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

Maybe it’s just my experience in Kentucky, but the implicit third item in “cling to their guns and religion” is “and the virtue of their white women.”

But maybe I’m just grouchy because my state just gave Rand Paul a 53% approval rating.
