The GOP needs to eventually decide whether it’s going to keep trying to slide by on aging white racists or try for a piece of that minority pie.

Going after minorities would have to include accepting ideas that the aging white racists consider anathema, like not treating all minority voters like moochers who just want a handout, and actually allowing multiculturalism and different faiths an equal place at the table.

Not going to happen anytime soon. I think they’re going to double down even further in 2014 and push for a True Believer as a nominee in 2016.
