I would think Waterford would be lead silicates though. Better clarity, lower working temperatures. Calcium aluminosilicates and aluminoborosilicates are much more common in LCD glass applications. And then you also find aluminosilicates in things like Gorilla Glass (read about cation stuffing yesterday as I troll the literature to be sure I’m up to date).

This is a reread though. One of my advisor’s papers, basis for one of the chapters in my thesis.
