It would have been funny to see 2016 Sanders attempt to campaign against an Obama who had lost to Clinton in 2008 and then served in her administration. I have no illusions, I get that Hillary Clinton is personally rather unpopular. I think that’s a big part of Sanders’ base, young liberals who grew up hearing nasty shit about the Clintons but were too young to be properly skeptical.

Obama would wipe the floor with Sanders so hard they’d have to ask Donald Trump to come build a yuuuuuge, classy replacement floor.
