This particular marriage is remarkable in that not all that long ago, historically speaking, Edward VIII wanted to marry an American divorceé and we all know how that ended. Granted, he was King, but I can’t help but think that a marriage such as the one between Harry and Megan would’ve been impossible 30 years ago.
