Probably. They were looking for a “win” after Roseanne so they would do the faux outrage dance at any naughty word thrown at Ivanka. I think most people are defending her, but the c word seems to carry a lot of weight in the U.S. as a vulgarity period. And then it carries sexist weight when it’s said by men towards a women.
I do think Bitch would have most people making the same basic arguments in this particular situation though.

Right, which is why I’m rather confused as to why we’re getting at her for her language. They were looking for an excuse, using “****” instead of “bitch” would not have made any difference to them, so why does it to us?
