My Facebook timeline tells me the closeted (and now some out-of-the-closet) bigots are still enamoured with Trump.

And even the non-troglodytes who are still clinging to the GOP (as in many of the so-called “purple” states like Iowa and Pennsylvania) do so because of local politics and that is not going to change quickly. To these folk, who may even admit that Trump is horrible on this or that aspect of being human, it is more important to not be a Democrat for some reason (often abortion.)
