Also, this is what I was getting at on the last thread, when I talked about some believers trying to ‘explain’ miracles in non-miraculous ways. It strikes me as silly, because what’s the point of arguing for a non-miraculous explanation? An easier non-miraculous explanation is somebody made it up, as you suggest.

You can believe in the divinity of Jesus without having to buy into the miracles. You can buy into the philosophy of making Earth like the Kingdom of Heaven without believing in the divinity of Jesus.

dont get me started on miracles. because either
- God can break natural laws as we understand them, and only god can
or
- God is working within the framework of natural law at a level we have yet to discover but could one day harness.

either way a miracle is not what it is commonly construed to be
