They’re already bashing her as a trust fund elitist. She had quite a bit to do with Trek’s success however. I don’t think she’s much of a “workers candidate” though. I’ll reserve judgement for now but I’m skeptical.

In fact, in anticipation of Burke’s announcement, state Republicans even snagged the domain MaryBurke.com. The site is now dedicated to attacks on Burke, many of which focus on her personal wealth.

Designed to look like a cork board, its homepage is filled with post-it notes that describe Burke’s apparent flaws.

For example: “Madi$on millionaire.”

Another one: “Out of Touch.”
