I was in a 5.8 near the epicenter. The whole building was shaking. I thought the entertainment center was going to topple over. It was literally bouncing off the wall. I had visions of the building collapsing.

My original hotel (I changed when I found they didn’t have smoking rooms when I was checking in) broke a water main and was uninhabitable.

I’ve never been more frightened in my entire life.
