A large number of immigrants to Scotland are Polish and eastern European.
A not insignificant number of Poles have Scottish ancestry, dating back to the 1600s.
Relating to a lot of the Catholics that fled the UK during the Civil War period right? Being more versed in Irish history, I am familiar with the Flight of the Wild Geese but less so in the Scots who also fled.
