There’s no reason not to, but I’m just saying that it’s not absolutely clear-cut copyright infringement. In fact, my post is more saying, “We need to fix our copyright laws, because the system we have in the US is absolutely broken in the Digital Age.”

True. However, sometimes it’s not about the letter of the law. “Never screw with The Mouse” is how locals say don’t mess with Disney characters. Their lawyers seemingly always win. In any case, it’s in Marvel’s hands to act or ignore.
