Doom 2 and Duke (and a bit of Hexen) were it for me in the 3d shooter genre. Quake and what followed - meh. Duke was particularly cool because of all the black humor as well as the possibility of editing script files for hilarious effects.

When ever I think hear of Duke Nukem I think of Conker’s Bad Fur Day. The sequel wasn’t that great and, I hate to say it, they are still trying to make a sequel to Duke Nuke if it ever comes out hopefully it will be better then Conker’s
