I think going in to fight a war in Iraq on the basis of false fake intel and WMDs did a better job of endangering soldiers. Which is not to give Manning a free pass. But it is relative. Given that, technically speaking Manning is still innocent until proven guilty — think due process and the US Constitution. Even in a military tribunal. He sounds guilty to me but that’s irrelevant in a truly blind (allegedly) justice system.
