I don’t think it’s the same thing. Different environments. Different reasoning. Strip searches by the TSA would be done on a case by case basis. However, since I don’t believe in profiling. I think everyone should be subjected to about the same scrutiny. But that’s for ordinary people that won’t be holed up behind steel bars in a jail cell with one toilet mixed in with minor offenders and many times violent criminals.

Prior to this case, strip searches in jail were done on a case by case basis.
