I’m guessing if the NRA had to choose between gun control and the Taliban, they’d go with the Taliban. I mean, we already have the spectacle of wingers worshipping a former KGB officer turned dictator. It won’t be long before they’re nodding in agreement with Taliban criticisms of western “decadence”. Some (Dinesh d’Souza) have already gone down that path a bit.

How soon until they start quoting “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.”?
