Clinton is going to win the popular vote for close to 2.5 million or more. If there is evidence of election machine hacking it will get very ugly.

At the moment people are in denial, one of the early stages of grief. At some point, after things settle in people are going to be angry. Add to that anger the possibility of a fixed election and the outcome becomes very unpredictable.

Even if Clinton backs away for the good of the country like Gore did, I don’t see how this ends well.

What would Putin love more than a useful idiot heading the executive branch? One in which the result is overturned and trust in the government and electoral process is severely undermined as a result.

And I wouldn’t put it past Putin to (metaphorically) stab Trump in the back.

This is not saying that I’m opposed to the recount. Let it happen. It’s the possible ulterior motives that frighten me.
