The loss of Congress, the judiciary and the presidency as reasonable institutions can all be blamed on the Republicans. They have turned into a death-cult wrecking ball that demolishes everything that interferes with tax cuts, wars and scapegoating others.

i know im becoming a johnny one-note on this and i’ll get it out of my system soon and move on to some other outrage

trumps just one grifter who fooled a lot of people. hes totally self absorbed. but he’s just one.

congress is a lot of moving parts. he moves in and they abdicate at the same time - its like most of them gave up on caring about the going concern/history/future/legacy/continuity of the republic at all

i dont know if it’s because of trump or in spite of. the timing…

they tried to rein in obama and couldnt.
they’re not trying to do anything here and they so easily could.

trump is not helping them get what they want. nor with how history will view them
