One thing I noticed is that some of the people who loved that film missed the little clues along the way that hint that maybe the events of the film were all just some fantasy in Arthur Fleck’s disturbed mind, or a mix of reality and fantasy.

It’s not a bad film, per se, but Phoenix’s performance elevated it from somewhat unoriginal narrative mediocrity. Joaquin Phoenix excels at playing disturbed individuals.

Been a fan of his since Gladiator. He’s gifted.
