As much as the Black Bloc anarchists piss me off they’re a minor irritant compared to the real existential danger posed by nazis who have been empowered by government. I think it’s dangerous to look at these assholes and simply think of them as ridiculous clowns. What they represent is deeply terrifying.

I agree in principle, but this lot, demonstrating in Berkeley, certainly wasn’t empowered by any government. And the Black Block anarchists did about $500,000 in damage the last time they turned up at a Berkeley demonstration. A plague on both their houses, I say.
