Husband works in construction and is the senior superintendent overseeing 4 buildings being built simultaneously on a new city college campus. Construction is considered essential so he goes to the job site everyday. There is only one person more senior than him on the site, the project manager — who stays in his trailer all day everyday while husband is the guy in the field. On Wednesday an employee for a subcontractor went home sick at noon. At 6:50am on Thursday he went to the ER, unable to breathe. By 3:00pm that day he tested positive and is now in ICU. Husband found out at 5:30pm yesterday via an email attachment the subcontractor sent out laying out the timeline. Husband is fucking furious. Project manager said he would call him to talk about it and husband told him not to call, that it would not be a good conversation.

So husband’s boss knew. People in the office knew. Did they tell husband’s boss not to tell him? Because if that turns out to be the case, he will likely not be employed there anymore as of tomorrow. Fuckers.

No opportunity to do contact tracing because husband doesn’t know exactly who it is, since he works for another company. He thinks he knows who it is but not sure. So how the fuck do we know who might need to quarantine?
