That’s not the important part though. Intent on his part wouldn’t matter if we didn’t have a system so dedicated to the honor system that there would be no recourse or roadblocks to that if the Senate was owned by the President’s party and decided to just not give a shit, as well a court system so stacked by said Senate that could stonewall the House’s own authority on the matter.

The country elected a man who doesn’t understand the office or its limits. The GOP has decided that the limits just never existed in the first place so it’s ok.
