I watched All The Way last night which focused on the battle to get the Civil Rights Act enacted after Kennedy’s death. During the filibuster, a Southern Senator argued that the South’s black population should be resettled so that they were evenly distributed across the nation, by force if necessary I guess. So much for claiming they opposed the Civil Rights Act on constitutional grounds.
