Please do [referring to watching PBS’s Vietnam War documentary]. It’s a great way to learn about the war that defined our parents’ generation.

My whole family is taking a hard pass on watching this. Too close to home.

I had my screening for the Salt Lake City VA Hosptial osteoporosis study: I am told I have osteopenia (a somewhat controversial designation, part of which the VA study hopes to clear up).

Good news though: My left hand is starting to recover from my surgery: I can now apply 30# of force (vs. 85# with my right hand).
