Well, my wife’s younger brother just wrote her to say he bought the 1968 Pontiac Bonneville he owned as a teenager (same VIN) from E-bay.

He also says his wife isn’t speaking to him right now for spending $1,500 to buy the car.

Heh. I’d have done the same thing, probably. If he fixes it up real nice, he (or his heirs) can recoup his investment several times over when he sells it.
