If he enters this year’s race I suspect his sight is on 2016, not 2012.

The reason he would enter this year is to build name recognition.

It’s a delicately balanced risk: by running this year and losing he will gain name recognition but if he gets too small a share of the GOP vote he will be tagged as a “loser.” He needs to come in second to whomever.

If he wants to be President he has to become better known.
