This whole thing is so bad. We all have to get together no matter what our race, and see that justice is done here.

There are several levels of justice to be done here:

First, there are Zimmerman’s actions. I am afraid that he has the law on his side: all he needs to do is to make a reasonable case that he felt “threatened”

Then there are the police actions in ignoring or covering up evidence that would not corroborate his story

And then there is the SYG law itself, one which is bound to lead to similar incidents like this in the future.
