What’s unfortunate and this isn’t Al’s fault because you can’t fault who hates you but what’s unfortunate to me is that people discredit Global Warming simply because they see Al’s name and think “Oh, Al Gore, this is bs.” Just sucks. That always annoyed me.

That was an unfortuate side effect of him championing the cause. A lot of people went from simply ignoring it or dismissing it to actively opposing it, simply because he was behind it.

Now it has become one of the major RWNJ litmus test issues along with abortion, creationism and tax increases.
