The GOP have few options in the House. They can bitch and whine, but if they block the Senate deal it shows that they are obstructionists at their core and have no intention of accepting any kind of deal under any circumstances. If anything, if they block the Senate plan, it would only add ammo to the Senate and WH to push a deal that leaves the GOP in an even worse position - each successive deal that the House blocks would be met with one that gives the House GOP even less. That’s not governance. That’s insanity and the Senate GOP knows this. That’s why they went with the current compromise deal.

The House GOP is so reactionary and anti-Obama, they’re willing to take that chance.
