It doesn’t have to be that way. I met a gay couple last Saturday in Frankfurt who attend an Episcopal church there with a gay minister.

I feel safe saying that not many Episcopals have ever described themselves as “born again”.

It’s exclusively an evangelical thing, or close enough for most practical purposes.
