This has been a common pattern for some time now. Good news for the Main Street economy is bad news for Wall Street, and vice versa.
This suggests the needs for fundamental reform of our economy, which of course is completely impossible as long as US politics consists exclusively of trying to prevent the GOP wrecking crew from effing everything up.
