and remember george carlin explaining faux-rage over certain words way back when:

I know women who are offended at the word bitch (I, personally, wear it as a badge of honor). Although I’m not overly fond of the word ****, it’s just a fucking word, and if (when) somebody called me that, after I registered mild shock, I would try to unravel what action I had taken to incite the invective. YMMV
