It is. If they’d hit him with the scattershot that critics claim would have worked better, or focused on his finances which we’re told is the goldmine that would kill his candidacy, then the GOP probably would be voting on his confirmation today because Flake and others wouldn’t feel the same pressure to give the FBI another go. They’d be able to argue that the DNC doesn’t seem to care much if the matter is thoroughly investigated and treated Dr. Ford’s allegations as an excuse to have another go at Kavanaugh, so why should they waste the Senate’s time on a “witch hunt”?

And what really got to Flake?

Women.

The finances would not have caused the issues the sexual allegations did to really fire up American women.

And I still think getting women out to the polls for Democrats in November is key. it is good, necessary politics.

Plus, women really do have a ton of crap to be concerned with both the GOP and Kavanaugh and The Supremes. It is morally good too.
