re: #187 The Pie Overlord!
I once spotted a Ford Mondeo (sold in Europe but not in the US) on the freeway and it was RHD. I said to myself “I bet that it gets off at the proving ground” and sure enough it took the Oakwood Blvd exit.
Weirdest thing I ever saw in that regard was a double-decker bus with the signboard reading “Kowloon Harbour” on the front driving past me in Central Scotland. Saying that there was a bus factory just a few miles away and they built buses for export all around the world, including Hong Kong. The buses were often driven around the area for a bit to test them after they were finished and before they were shipped off to their final customers.
Another LHD/RHD thing to look out for is the beginning of the Oscar-winning Miyazaki movie “Spirited Away”. The car the family are travelling in is a LHD import, an Audi IIRC.
