Well no, Mark, the double standard would be people who went for literal years arguing that Hillary Clinton deserved to be in prison for having two documents labeled “Confidential” on her private email server now arguing that Donald Trump having literal boxes worth of potentially classified documents in his private residence is a matter that should have been handled by the FBI politely asking for them to be returned when he felt like parting with them.

Plus it is not illegal to have classified material sent to you if you didn’t solicit it (same with child exploitation material). It is only illegal if you attempt to hide it.

My understanding of the Great E-mail Headsplosion was that Hillary Clinton received documents which had a couple paragraphs marked (c) [confidential] which were not redacted. When they were found came the Great E-mail Hunt to which she testified before Congress for eleven hours.
