What exactly did you mean when you seemed to feign surprise that one might be concerned by funding from donations from Arab and Islamic countries?

I didn’t feign anything, Spare. I’m not much of a feigner. I do find it hilarious that people are treating donations from foreign Muslims as though they all come from Hamas.

Yes, there might be donations from the Saudi Arabian leaders— who, you’ll recall, are the US’s allies. Or maybe there will be donations from the King of Jordan— an investor in many US companies. Or maybe money will come from lots of individual Muslims abroad.

Why shouldn’t it? What problem is there in allowed foreign Muslims to support a non-profit community center? We allow them to invest in our companies, to buy land in the US, to do any number of things.

If your concern is about funding from specific foreign Muslim groups, that’s fine. But foreign Muslims != eebul terrorist groups.
