Well, it looks like with the subsidy he’ll pay ~ $100.00 for a silver. He’s never had health insurance before because of the string of shitty jobs he’s held. He’s been on Badgercare for the last few years (state Medicaid with limited coverage) , but gov. Walker and the GOP legislature have wrote him out. So even though the process has been shitty for him, the fact that he’s getting better coverage is good in the long run. Although in your example I don’t know how happy I’d be about it.
