I watched the local Columbus NBC channel 4 political show and Steve Stivers (Ohio 15th District Rep…parts of Columbus) was on and talking about the ACA. He told the host that preexisting conditions would still be a part of the new GOP plan and also children up to age 26 can stay on the parents plan. He tried to make it sound like much of the ACA will be kept just reworked, blah, blah, blah.

Sounds like the Republicans are dancing around on what to do about it all. Sure was easy for them to have big mouths about how they were going to repeal and replace and when it comes time to do actual policy they are clueless.

I guess it is a good thing that they are not just going to be able to shitcan the whole thing and be done with it…which was their plan all along.

I like to see GOP politicians sweat and be worried about their jobs. There hasn’t been enough of it…I hope for a whole lot more.

I knew Stivers had part of Columbus and the near by area. I googled to find an image of his district. It’s pretty screwed up. Look how it snakes around the west, south and east areas around the outside of Columbus and has very creative reaches into certain (conservative for sure) areas of the city itself inside the I-270 outerbelt. That’s some creative district drawing right there.
