I have a big problem with vouchers for several reasons- A) I think we should be prioritizing building strong public schools, B) I hate the idea of taxpayer money going to private schools whether they be religious based or not, and C) I think private schools neglect children with disabilities- learning and physical.

Public schools and private schools are apples and oranges: unless private and church schools are compelled to take all children who apply and are only allowed to expel them if they present an extreme and egregious threat to the well-being of other students, then they cannot begin to be compared to public schools, especially in terms of overall performance.
