No he’s asking if we ever had a situation where say Bill lost Arkansas and HW lost Texas. Bill and Al won Arkansas and Tennessee both times. Hard to believe now.

The 90s were the death rattle of the southern conservative Democrats. Clinton and Gore during that time, especially in the early 90s, were closer to being southern conservative Democrats than to being progressives (that’s where Clinton’s third way stuff came from).
