School curriculums have been dumbed down to the point of insanity. Schools where I am no longer teach geography, spelling or grammar. No learning to read a map, studying other countries, no understanding how to write so it makes sense and don’t even get me started on the cuts in history and sciences. My kid has been out of school since 2012, I’m scared to know how bad it is now.

I really think we should go back and try to get back to the way we educated people before this madness. Public schools at one time produced scientists and engineers that sent us to outer space and gave us modern medicine and technology. We sent kids to college ready for more advanced learning. We were doing something right then, why not again?
