Good evening.

the market had a sell off at the last minute today, but still ended up in positive territory.
Dow Closes Higher on Day but Still Down for Year

Wall Street’s jitters about waning demand for government debt eased a bit on Thursday.

An auction for $11 billion in 30-year Treasury bonds went better than many analysts had expected, drawing strong response from buyers attracted by recent increases in interest rates. That sent stocks sharply higher, and the Dow Jones industrial average crossed briefly into positive territory for the year before retreating near the close of trading.

The Dow gained 31.90 points, or 0.37 percent, to end at 8,770.92, less than six points from its high for the year. The Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index, which is up about 5 percent since Jan. 1, rose 5.74 points, or 0.61 percent, to 944.89. The Nasdaq was up 9.29 points, or 0.5 percent, at 1,862.37.

I’m looking for a bit of a sell off as professional investors will be trying to lock in some (meager) profits.
