I have a good opportunity to work in the furniture/electronic department of a major non-profit thrift store chain. And I have an “in” with the manager and interviewed for the job this morning. Nine dollars an hour, full benefits in 90 days, 40 hour a week. A real job. There is a lot of other things I would rather do, but bottom line is after the 55 percent cut in salary at the theatre in Sept. 2009, I really want a regular job.

good for you…I was offered a job in a hot rod shop not far from me…a company that builds old trucks into street rods and sell them all over the country…when I feel better I might take it, or I may sit on my fat ass for the next twenty years…ABQ has not been as hard hit, there jobs here and there
