I think this question would be best asked after the 1st debate. Perry doesn’t really so the whole debating thing. If he has a good night Wednesday, then I’d say he’s got it. But if he proves to be not ready for prime time, I think it shifts back to Romney at least until the next debate.

Is Perry gonna be there or is he sticking around Texas because of the wildfires? (could also be a twofer if he hates debates)
