Indeed. People like the Rage Furby brag about creating memes, as if they are some sort of serious contribution to political and social discourse. The president-elect uses Twitter as a vindictive tool, while he avoids holding press conferences or issuing substantive policy statements.

The American public has this stupid idea that complex problems have simple solutions, and all that is required is a “strong” (white) president with all the right answers.
