My opinion is that you’re blinded to the prejudices that exist within the EU and France in particular in much the same way a person living in a lily white city in the Midwest is blinded to the racism and prejudice in the US.

And my opinion is that you don’t know very much about the situation here and are regurgitating what you’ve read in a well-meaning but hopelessly mired in generalities American newspaper.

In any event, as always, your original argument was of the strawman-type, based on future hypothetical what-ifs (in effect, “what if the EU became as bad as the US”) while mine was based on some very harsh realities that are impacting the entire planet right now.

Besides, I’m hardly the only who’s made the decision to boycott travel to the US.
