And I understand why Manchin says this, because he represents a state with almost no non-white people who are deathly afraid of non-white people. But bad, discriminatory policy gets passed when people refuse to identify it as bad, discriminatory policy out of a sense of niceness.

He just didn’t want to get caught up in all that New York talk.

I only caught the opening bit of MTP and heard Joe say that a couple times.

All I can figure is Joe thinks his state is isolated from the rest of America. Which I don’t understand, because that is what a lot of Americans think about West Virginia.

So Joe I have to ask, what are you really doing to advance your state so they can understand the big city? How about educating them so maybe they understand Democratic political positions instead of soft shoeing them and allow the GOP to keep you dancing.

I think if you actually stood up and showed some damn spine, they might understand that.

It’s no wonder your seat is tenuous.
