Sure but migrate and move I think can be interchangeable. Think the famous “Migrate Mother” photo by Dorothea Lange and The Great Migration of African-Americans from the rural South to the nation’s cities.

maybe im being pedantic maybe not
people within a country ‘move’
people emigrate / immigrate between countries
and maybe populations can migrate within a country (200 people isnt a population)

in any event no one talks the way that woman did
