Question re: this whole thread - who is the Twitter poster? I’m not about to argue that anything that was posted is a lie; knowing this administration, I’m sure that it is not. I just want some background on my source so that I can respond to any haters.

I wasn’t talking specifically about America’s child concentration camps that the Twitter poster was talking about. I was responding to the idea that if American civilians held a sizable protest anywhere near a military facility, the current political climate would basically guarantee their slaughter.

As for the veracity of that Twitter thread: no one believed Auschwitz and the other camps were real until they were liberated, despite years of rumors about them.

And invoke Godwin’s Law all you want. Even if the Twitter storm is incorrect, the fact remains the US is essentially kidnapping and imprisoning children in outdoor camps on our souther border. Close enough of a comparison for me.
