Another actor who gets the money but not the credit he deserves is Tom Cruise. It was a very smart move to cast him instead of Rutger Hauer as Lestat in Interview With The Vampire, no matter how pissed off it made Anne Rice. And he showed some fine comedy chops in Jerry Maguire, too.
